I have a true dual custom H-pipe exhaust system with Super Flowmaster 40's I think they are alright mufflers, They have a nice deep tone never ricey. They sound ricey IMO..it's hard to get a real good sounding muffler on a V6. I'd have to say it's the smart way to go. i recently purchased the flowmaster 40 serious and got dual exhaust. cuz right now my sound just seems way to mellow. from what i understand they are quieter on the inside of the car, deeper sound on the outside, more power than the original 40 mufflers. And they ARE all stainless. I don't htink there's much if any HP to be gained by swapping them out, and I like the tone. i thought the super 40's were just black painted original 40's. really aggressive.
